We tend not to change up our upward facing dogs very often—or any of our foundation poses—but sometimes it’s nice to go back to the basics and make little changes for some variety in out practice. I love to add some twisty goodness to my upward dog or lift one leg at a time for a nice change. It feels so good, just make sure that you keep the tops of the feet flat on the ground and that you’re only twisting through your torso and shoulders. 💛

#FreeYogis Day 29. #Burning.
You thought chair pose was intense? Try it on your tip toes. Burn baby, burn! (PS - Go Packers! And please ignore the enormous box of shop rags that Ben will NOT put away.)
Psst…are you ready for next month’s challenge #PoseByPose!?
Oh, this one is a burner.
September Yoga Challenge day 29: #burning
It burns baby but pretend it’s no big deal.
